The very next day, day 6, was pretty cool. We woke up and went bridge jumping on the Jordan River, a tributary of Utah Lake. It was terrifying at first, but so much fun, and I am glad I did it. Definitely the highest I've ever jumped. Awesome climb up, the bridge itself was really cool. I was driving the first part, as we passed through Utah and the ridiculous salt flats, and into Nevada. I drove into the Pacific Time Zone, and stopped in a town called Pequop. Mark took us off-roading bc that's all Pequop had, it is literally a ghost town, in the sense it is a town but there is not a single building there. Then we kept driving, on the way to Reno, then Lake Tahoe. Reno was a very very interesting town with very very interesting people. After Walmart, and finally getting almond butter for the first time, (I am allergic to peanuts but wanted to try the Kroger Special), we went and ate at the Mustard Seed. Our waiter was honestly not good and I ate the wings solely because they were out of ribs, but their potato salad was good. Overall nice little place to eat though, the area looked awesome. On the way back to the car, we met Yahtzee, so nicknamed by us because he was carrying a Yahtzee box. He was extremely crazy, and apparently won at the casino and just walked 8 miles. He was going to quit smoking cigarettes July 1st, but he didn't want to suffer through a holiday weekend, so he's quitting July 5th. Only doing weed from that point on, it's his medicine. Inspirational guy. After Reno we began the drive to South Lake Tahoe, to meet Micah, the guy we were Couchsurfing with. This would be my first time in Cali since I was 3. Micah was really cool, and he lived an extremely messed up, unconventional, but awesome life. He had a son named Never, and Micah cussed like 3 times a sentence, and I believe his peak in a single sentence was 11, which is actually kind of impressive. He was real big on extending a hand to other people, and told us of his travels all over the world and the crazy stuff he has done. He wrote a book, and gave each of us our own copy, and I gave it a quick skim. Overall a nice little place to sleep.
