Day 4 began with me having a slight cold due to the cold of previous night, and staying in the freezing cold of Hippie Hole. Neither mark or I had slept well. We slept in the car, while Connor and Danny climbed some random rock they pulled over for. I drove through the most beautiful part of Wyoming, and I was definitely stunned by how amazing that state really was. There were two areas that took very long because of one way/road work type stuff, where we had to wait while a line of cars drove through like 2 miles. When we had gotten into the desert, it was finally hot. I pulled over on the side of the road, we all peed and ate a little. We threw some rocks at this power line and then threw grapes at each other, and Mark hit Connor in the balls. Classic. The car was all dusty from the Badlands, so we decorated the back window. Then I drove all the way into Yellowstone, very tiring, tensions were kinda high. Next Danny took over, and we drove for quite some time. We saw two bears along with this huge crowd of people, but they were very far away. We stopped and got gas, and I achieved perhaps the most impressive feat of all time: I stopped the gas at exactly both 5 gallons and $14.00. Next we drove to the falls, saw a much bigger grizzly, a lot closer. Then we walked down to the falls, and it was absolutely breathtaking. As our President would say, it was a “yuuuge” waterfall. It began to hail on our way back up, so we went back to our car rather quickly. We went to Grand Prismatic Spring and stayed alive with the warmth from that. Then we drove to Ole Faithful, but didn't get out because we were still freezing. We got to the Grand Tetons, got very nice bread for $5, and hung out in the gift shop. Next is the low point of the trip. The campgrounds at the Tetons Resort were all full, so we went further down to another campsite, which was also full. We had no service at all, which is always depressing, but we were all so tired and wanted to get out of the rain so we slept in the car. Worst sleep ever.
